Warhammer 40,000: Apocrypha Files
Camryn Constantinius Merritt
" It seemed like a good idea at the time" Commodore of the Iron Wing Rogue Trader Flotilla
Camryn Merritt was born the youngest son of the Merritt Rogue Trader dynasty. After his older brother disappeared and presumed dead in a Warp travel accident, Camryn was named the successor to the Merritt Family dynasty fortune. Camryn had been on several ships as a young teenager and as a young adult, but none of them really saw any action so to speak. He wasn’t sure if this was due to any meddling from his father or mother or if he was just unlucky in that regard. When he reached the age of 26, he was finally given his own ship, the Patriot’s Glory, an Orion Class Clipper that was a newer design and was built to take high value cargo quickly from one point to the other. Camryn decided he would start big and accepted job to shuttle an Imperial Knight and her cotere of Space Wolf Astartes and Cadian Storm Troopers to the Knight’s home planet to reclaim her lands and title. He also, unfortunately also got tangled up some Eldar and a Craft World that sent them looking for several artifacts for the Eldar. After several very unfortunate accidents, including a meeting the Dark Mechanicum, the Patriot’s Glory found themselves on a planet overrun with Nurgle zombies and a plague. Camryn was knocked unconscious while defending his ship and a Shadow Wolves battle barge from a demon with a bad attitude and a rocket launcher. Camryn slipped into a coma. He awoke after his planet crashed on a forge world that had been lost in the warp for the last 10,000 years.
